This is a broad tutorial. How these app works are fairly simple:
Step 1 is a company set up
The administrator will start by entering company details:
- Offices within the business or organization
- Teams within the business or organization
- Add all employees
Step 2 is time input.
Now, you want the employees to input their time. You have several options.
- Set up a kiosk: you can use any device as a “kiosk”. All employees can “punch in” and “punch out” using a QR code OR a 4-digit pin code.
- Employees log their time: Alternatively, employees can log in their time using the app
- Manual add: you can also manually add time inputs into the system.
Generally, a company or organization with choosing either the kiosk format or the “employee adds their own time” format.
Step 3: Reports and Information.
This is where the magic happens. Once the time is inputted, you now have wonderful data that you can pull from and use to get the information you want. Examples are:
- How many hours did the whole teamwork this week?
- Who worked the most hours this week?
- Attendance report: Were there any people absent this week?
- Etc.
So many questions, very many answers ; )
